Gun-wielding suspect caught after business holdup in Northwest D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — A man accused of robbing a Northwest D.C. business at gunpoint has been arrested and charged, officials announced Thursday.

The robbery occurred on Feb. 3 around 1:38 p.m. in the 800 block of Quincy Street NW. The suspect entered the business, pointed a gun at an employee, and took money from the cash register before fleeing.

Following an investigation, police arrested 31-year-old David Williams on Feb. 6. He has been charged with Armed Robbery (Gun).

Authorities have not released further details about the case, and the investigation remains ongoing.
