NORTH BERGEN, N.J. — A motor vehicle accident involving a pedestrian has led to multiple road closures and detours near 91st Street and Tonnelle Avenue, police said.

The North Bergen Police Department announced the incident on social media, urging drivers to avoid the area due to significant traffic delays.

“There are numerous road closures and detours in the vicinity of 91st Street and Tonnelle Avenue due to a motor vehicle accident involving a pedestrian,” the department said.

Authorities have not released details about the condition of the pedestrian or the circumstances surrounding the accident. Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes while the investigation continues.
