CHESAPEAKE, VA — Chesapeake police are investigating a shooting that left an adult female with life-threatening injuries Monday night.
Officers responded to the 2900 block of Parkside Drive around 7:57 p.m. after reports of gunshots in the area. Upon arrival, they located the victim, who had been shot. She was transported to a hospital for treatment.
The incident remains under active investigation, and authorities have not released details about a suspect or motive.
