Shooting victim in Baltimore hospital leads police to crime scene

BALTIMORE, MD — A 23-year-old man was shot on Shannon Drive Monday afternoon before making his way to a hospital for treatment, authorities said.

Officers responded to the hospital around 2:45 p.m. and found the victim suffering from gunshot wounds. He told investigators he had been approached and shot by unidentified suspects in the 3100 block of Shannon Drive.

Eastern District Shooting Detectives located evidence at the scene and have taken over the investigation.
