Multiple injured after Delta Airlines plane crash-lands upsidedown at Toronto Pearson Airport

TORONTO — Multiple people were injured Monday after a Delta Airlines plane arriving from Minneapolis was involved in a crash upon landing at Toronto Pearson International Airport, officials said.

Paramedics told CP24 that up to eight people sustained injuries, though the severity remains unclear. Emergency teams responded to the scene, and all passengers and crew were accounted for, according to an update from the airport on social media.

“Emergency teams are responding. All passengers and crew are accounted for,” Toronto Pearson said in a statement on X.

Peel Regional Police confirmed they are investigating the incident alongside paramedics, who have established a staging area off the runway.

The circumstances surrounding the crash were not immediately available.

Authorities are continuing to assess the situation as details emerge.
