Ecuadorian suspect wanted for murder arrested in Ohio by ICE, U.S. Marshals

COLUMBUS, Ohio — U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the U.S. Marshals Service arrested Luis Naula-Candelario, an Ecuadorian national wanted for murder in his home country, in Pickerington, Ohio, on Feb. 12.

“Foreign fugitives will find no safe haven, here in Ohio or across the U.S., for crimes they committed in their home countries,” said ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations Detroit Field Office Director Robert Lynch.

Naula remains in ICE custody pending further immigration proceedings.
