Johnny Malloy’s proves lucky as Medina player wins $50K

MEDINA, OH — A lucky Powerball player from Medina has won $50,000 after matching four numbers plus the Powerball in the January 18 drawing.

The winning numbers were 14, 31, 35, 64, and 69, with the Powerball 23 and a Power Play of 2. The ticket was purchased at Johnny Malloy’s, located at 1038 North Court Street in Medina.

The winner used auto pick to select his numbers, securing a third-tier prize. Meanwhile, the Powerball jackpot has climbed to an estimated $195 million for Wednesday’s drawing.

Since 1974, the Ohio Lottery has contributed more than $33 billion to education across the state.
