Friday Flashback: 85-Year-Old Photo Shows Cranford Police Officer at the Range

CRANFORD, N.J. — The Cranford Police Department took a trip down memory lane Friday, sharing a historical photo from the late 1940s featuring Lt. Harry Page at the Shotgun Range, now known as Lenape Park.

The black-and-white image, posted as part of the department’s #FlashbackFriday series, highlights a piece of local history when the area off Kenilworth Boulevard served as a shooting range. The transformation of the site into Lenape Park reflects decades of development and community change.
