Woman fatally struck by truck in Baltimore hit-and-run crash

BALTIMORE, MD – A 35-year-old woman died early Saturday morning after being struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run crash on Pulaski Highway, according to police.

Officers responded to the 3500 block of Pulaski Highway around 2:17 a.m. and found medics treating the victim, who was lying in the roadway with serious injuries.

She was transported to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead a short time later.

Investigators believe the woman was crossing in the middle of the street when a black Ford F-150 truck ran a red light and hit her before fleeing the scene.

The Accident Investigation Unit is leading the case, and authorities are urging anyone with information to call investigators at 410-396-2606 or submit an anonymous tip through Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7LOCKUP.
