Murder in Queens as Man Stabbed to Death During Knife Fight

FAR ROCKAWAY, QUEENS — A 33-year-old man was fatally stabbed during a fight in Queens on Saturday evening, police said.

Officers responded to a 911 call about a fight in progress at approximately 6:49 p.m. near 340 Beach 13th Street in the 101st Precinct. Upon arrival, they were informed that two men had been fighting with a knife but had fled before police arrived.

A hospital canvass led officers to St. John’s Hospital, where they discovered the victim with multiple stab wounds to his chest. He was later pronounced dead.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing. The identity of the deceased is pending family notification.
