Bronx and Brooklyn lottery players cash in with big Powerball wins

NEW YORK – Two lucky New York Lottery players each won $50,000 in Saturday’s Powerball drawing, with winning tickets sold in the Bronx and Brooklyn.

One ticket was purchased at M&Y Wine & Liquor at 2451 University Ave. in the Bronx. The other was sold at L & E Grocery at 127 Albany Ave. in Brooklyn.

Powerball drawings take place every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m., with winning numbers selected from a field of one to 69, plus a red Power Ball from a separate field of one to 26.
