Woman Suffers Broken Jaw Over Car Part Dispute in Wilkes-Barre

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. — A Kingston man was arrested after allegedly assaulting a woman during an argument, leaving her with a broken jaw, according to the Wilkes-Barre City Police Department.

Officers responded to a local hospital on February 21 at 6:05 p.m. after receiving a report of an injured female. The 43-year-old victim told police she had been engaged in a verbal dispute with Brian Jackson, 61, regarding a vehicle part when the altercation turned physical.

According to police, Jackson allegedly struck the victim multiple times in the face, resulting in serious injuries.

Authorities later took Jackson into custody, and he was held for arraignment.

Police have not released additional details about potential charges or Jackson’s court proceedings.
