TRENTON – A New Jersey Lottery player in Union County won the $1,521,040 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot in Wednesday’s drawing, making it the game’s second-highest prize of the year.

The winning ticket was sold at EZ Chek Food Store, located at 370 St. George Avenue in Rahway. The numbers drawn on February 26 were 14, 20, 29, 30, and 45, with an XTRA number of 02 and a Bullseye number of 45.

Forty-two players matched four numbers and the Bullseye, each winning $500. Thirteen others also took home $500 by matching four numbers with XTRA.

The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus for selling the jackpot-winning ticket.
