Ohio couple wins $100,000 Powerball prize in Lordstown

LORDSTOWN, OH (Feb. 27, 2025) – A couple in Ohio is celebrating after winning $100,008 in Saturday’s Powerball drawing.

The winning ticket was purchased at Lordstown Speed Check, located at 6565 Todd Avenue. The numbers drawn were 7, 18, 22, 50, and 65, with the Powerball 15 and Power Play 2.

The couple matched four of five numbers plus the Powerball, securing a third-tier $50,000 prize. With the Power Play multiplier, their winnings doubled to $100,000, plus an additional $8 in smaller prizes.

After mandatory state and federal taxes totaling 28%, they will take home $72,005.76.
