Unholy proposal: NYPD chaplain arrested on prostitution charge in the Bronx

NEW YORK — An off-duty NYPD chaplain was arrested Friday morning in the Bronx on a charge of patronizing prostitution, police said.

Michael Eguino, 40, was taken into custody at approximately 11:23 a.m. within the confines of the NYPD’s 49th Precinct. Authorities did not provide additional details about the circumstances surrounding his arrest.

The NYPD has not yet commented on the case or any potential disciplinary action.
