Lottery Player Wins Big with Repeat Numbers in Maryland

Lottery Tickets

A lottery player from Upper Marlboro secured a $100,000 win by playing the same numbers twice in a recent lottery drawing. After shopping at a farmers market, he purchased a $1 straight bet Pick 5 ticket at a Royal Farms store for the evening drawing and repeated the same number on a second ticket.

The numbers matched in the drawing on Monday, resulting in a combined payout of $100,000. The winner, who claimed his prize at Lottery headquarters in Baltimore, expressed his plan to continue his betting strategy in hopes of future wins.

His winnings are set to support his passion for motorcycle racing, specifically in purchasing motorcycle parts, while also helping to settle his finances. The winning tickets were sold at the Royal Farms at 5351 Ritchie-Marlboro Road, contributing to a $1,000 bonus for the store.
