Hazmat Team Responds Over Spilled Milk in Landover

LANDOVER, Md. — A milk tanker overturned late Wednesday morning at the intersection of Landover Road and Brightseat Road, prompting a hazardous materials response from Prince George’s County fire officials.

The Prince George’s County Fire/EMS Department reported the incident at 11:34 a.m., stating that hazmat units were on the scene. No injuries were reported.

Emergency crews worked to contain the spill while ensuring the area remained safe for traffic and pedestrians. It was not immediately clear what caused the tanker to overturn or how much milk was spilled.

Authorities have not indicated whether the crash led to any road closures or environmental concerns.

Fire officials remained on-site to assess the situation and clear the scene.
