Woman killed in violent Prince George’s County crash as Jeep flips over

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, MD – A woman died at the hospital after a violent two-car crash in the Adelphi area early Monday morning, police said.

At approximately 5:50 a.m. on March 10, officers responded to the intersection of Adelphi and Riggs roads, where a Honda and a Jeep had collided, causing the Jeep to flip onto its side.

A woman, who was a passenger in one of the vehicles, suffered critical injuries and was rushed to the hospital. She died several hours later.

On Tuesday, police identified the victim as 31-year-old Berta Marroquin Colindres of Hyattsville. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash.
