Circle K sells $50,000 winning scratch-off ticket in Ohio

Carroll, Ohio — A lucky lottery player won $50,000 after purchasing a 50th Anniversary scratch-off ticket at Circle K #5726 on Coonpath Road in Carroll.

The winner will take home approximately $36,000 after mandatory state and federal taxes.

The 50th Anniversary scratch-off is a $50 game featuring a top prize of $600,000 a year for 25 years. As of March 11, two top prizes remain unclaimed.

Since 1974, the Ohio Lottery has contributed more than $33 billion to education across the state.
