Man stabbed to death near Atlantic and Flatbush avenues in Brooklyn

BROOKLYN, N.Y. — A man was fatally stabbed Friday night near Atlantic Avenue and Flatbush Avenue, police said.

Officers responded to a 911 call at approximately 9:01 p.m. and found an unidentified adult male with multiple stab wounds to the abdomen.

Emergency medical services transported the victim to NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Police have not released the victim’s identity, pending family notification.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing.

Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact the NYPD as they work to determine the circumstances surrounding the attack.
