Victim in Deadly Flatbush Stabbing Identified

BROOKLYN, N.Y. — A 27-year-old man was fatally stabbed Friday night near Atlantic Avenue and Flatbush Avenue, police said.

Officers responded to a 911 call at approximately 9:01 p.m. on March 14 and found a man with multiple stab wounds to the abdomen. Emergency medical personnel transported him to NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The victim has been identified as Michael Hernandez, 27, of Blake Avenue in Brooklyn.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing. Authorities have not released any suspect information at this time.
