Double Shooting At Philadelphia Home Overnight Under Investigation

PHILADELPHIA, PA — A man is in critical condition and a woman was wounded after a shooting inside a residence in North Philadelphia on Monday night, police said.

The shooting happened at approximately 8:32 p.m. on the 2600 block of N. Howard Street in the city’s 26th District. Authorities said a 37-year-old woman was shot in the right shoulder. She was taken to Temple University Hospital by police, where she is listed in stable condition.

A 37-year-old man was shot in the back of the head. He was also transported to Temple University Hospital, where he remains in critical condition.

Police are holding the scene as they investigate. No arrests have been made, and no weapons have been recovered.

Authorities have not released any information about possible suspects or motives in the shooting.
