Ridgeley woman charged with burglary after breaking into Cumberland home

CUMBERLAND, MD — A Ridgeley, WV, woman has been charged with fourth-degree burglary following an investigation into a breaking and entering incident earlier this month.

Mariah Nicole Davis, 26, was served a criminal summons on Monday in connection with a March 5 incident on Spring Street.

Investigators discovered Davis’ belongings inside the residence and obtained text messages between her and the victim in which she admitted to being inside the home.

Charges were filed against Davis in District Court, and she was released after signing for the summons. She is awaiting trial.
