Seferino Lopez-Bautista arrested after stabbing roommate outside home

COLUMBUS, Ohio – A 23-year-old man was arrested and charged with felonious assault after allegedly stabbing his roommate outside their residence early Saturday morning, police said.

Officers responded to Grant Hospital around 5:46 a.m. on March 1 after receiving a report of a stabbing. The victim, an adult male, was suffering from serious stab wounds and told police he was attacked outside his home by his roommate, who then fled on foot.

Later that day, officers located and arrested Seferino Lopez-Bautista at a residence in the 100 block of S. Harris Avenue. He was charged with felonious assault.

Authorities have not released further details on the victim’s condition or what led to the altercation. The investigation is ongoing.
