Brick Township announces spring leaf collection schedule

BRICK TOWNSHIP, NJ — Brick Township’s annual spring leaf collection for bagged leaves will begin on Monday, April 7, and will follow the township’s recycling schedule.

The collection schedule is as follows:

  • Residents with a Thursday recycling day will have leaf collection from April 7 to April 9.
  • Residents with a Friday recycling day will have collection from April 10 to April 14.
  • Residents with a Monday recycling day will have collection from April 15 to April 17.
  • Residents with a Tuesday recycling day will have collection from April 18 to April 22.
  • Residents with a Wednesday recycling day will have collection from April 23 to April 25.

Residents must place bagged leaves at the curb by 6 a.m. on the first day of their designated collection period. Only leaves in bags will be collected, and each bag must not exceed 50 pounds. Branches, twigs, and other debris should not be included.

Leaves may also be dropped off at the Brick Township Recycling Center, located at 836 Ridge Road, which is open Monday through Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Additionally, the Ocean County Recycling Center on New Hampshire Avenue in Lakewood Township will accept leaves.
