Seaside Park Police mourn loss of K9 Jax after 9 years of service

SEASIDE PARK, NJ — The Seaside Park Police Department announced the passing of K9 Jax, a longtime service dog with the Ocean County Sheriff’s Office.

K9 Jax served the community for nine years under the guidance of Sheriff’s Officer Corporal Theodore Wielichoski. The department expressed its condolences and gratitude for Jax’s dedicated service.

“Thank you for your service to our community, you will be greatly missed,” the statement read.
