Driver killed after car strikes two trees in fatal Selbyville crash

SELBYVILLE, DE — Delaware State Police are investigating a single-vehicle crash that killed a 27-year-old woman from Bishopville, Maryland, late Wednesday night in Selbyville.

The crash happened around 8:51 p.m. on March 26, when a Hyundai Sonata traveling westbound on Cypress Road failed to navigate a curve near Daisey Road. Police say the vehicle veered off the north side of the roadway, hitting a tree with the rear passenger side before continuing forward and striking a second tree.
