Man shot in Glen Burnie, hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries

GLEN BURNIE, Md. — Anne Arundel County Police are investigating a shooting that occurred Friday in the 200 block of Candle Light Lane in Glen Burnie, where one man was injured.

Units responded to the scene and found an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body. He was transported to Shock Trauma with injuries reported as non-life-threatening.

Police confirmed the incident was a contact shooting but have not released any information about a suspect or motive.

No additional injuries were reported, and the investigation remains active.

Authorities have not indicated whether any arrests have been made.
