DC man busted after stabbing on F Street

WASHINGTON, DC – A man was taken into custody Monday morning after a stabbing incident in the heart of Northwest D.C. left one person injured.

The incident unfolded just before 11 a.m. in the 1100 block of F Street, where the suspect allegedly approached and stabbed a victim before fleeing the scene.

Emergency responders transported the victim to a hospital, where they were treated for minor injuries.

Following a swift investigation, officers located and arrested 45-year-old Ricky Camacho shortly after the attack.

Camacho now faces a charge of assault with a dangerous weapon involving a knife.

Authorities have not released additional details about the motive or whether the suspect and victim knew each other.
