Burglars hit DC store and flee in getaway vehicle

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Surveillance footage captured a late-night break-in Monday at a business on Benning Road NE, where thieves made off with stolen property before speeding away in a getaway vehicle.

The burglary occurred just after 11 p.m. in the 3400 block of Benning Road, Northeast. According to officials, multiple individuals entered the establishment unlawfully and quickly fled after taking items.
