Bronx man, 55, reported missing after leaving home in Throggs Neck

BRONX, NY — The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a 55-year-old Bronx man who has been missing since Sunday, April 13, 2025.

Edwin Roman was last seen around 11:00 a.m. leaving his residence at 140 Elgar Place, located within the confines of the 45th Precinct in the Throggs Neck section of the Bronx. Police say Roman has not been seen or heard from since.

He is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing around 190 pounds. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a black sweatshirt, blue jeans, and black Clark shoes.

NYPD urges public to assist in search

Authorities have not indicated whether Roman has any medical conditions or mental health issues. There is no evidence of foul play at this time, and the investigation remains ongoing.
