Jackson Township systems down, outages blamed on Microsoft ‘global problem’

JACKSON, NJ – Computer systems at the Jackson Township municipal offices and the Jackson Township Police Department are currently experiencing technical difficulties.

Township Council President Jennifer Kuhn today said township systems are down, and there’s no word on when they will be up.

Multiple council members said the administration reported the issue as being caused by a ‘global Microsoft outage’, but no such global issues have been reported by Microsoft, indicating that the problem appears to be isolated to Jackson’s accounts.

Please call before visiting the township for services until the matter is fixed, as some services are currently inaccessible, Kuhn said.

The township will notify residents once the issue has been resolved.
