Alarming absence as 14-year-old girl still missing in DC

WASHINGTON, D.C. — A 14-year-old girl disappeared in the middle of a Saturday afternoon and has not been seen since, prompting an urgent citywide search. Ty’anna Alston was last seen around 3:45 p.m. on Saturday, April 19, in the unit block of 56th Place SE.

She is described as a Black female, 4’11” tall, weighing 125 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes, and a dark complexion. At the time she went missing, she was last seen wearing black leggings.

Ty’anna’s disappearance has raised concern in the community, as nearly two weeks have passed with no confirmed sightings or updates on her location. Family members and local officials continue to plead for public assistance.
