NYC school principal arrested for DWI

A New York City Department of Education employee was arrested late Monday night in Brooklyn on multiple driving-related charges, according to police.

Gregory Jackson, a 50-year-old male, was taken into custody at approximately 11:37 p.m. within the confines of the 67th Precinct. Jackson is facing charges of Driving While Intoxicated, Driving While Ability Impaired, and Refusal to Take a Breath Test.

The incident occurred in the East Flatbush section of Brooklyn. No injuries or accidents were reported in connection with the arrest.

Jackson was identified as an employee of the NYC Department of Education. The agency has not released a statement regarding the arrest.

The case is under investigation and Jackson is expected to appear in court at a later date.
