Food delivery worker robbed at knifepoint in Bronx building

BRONX, N.Y. — A 22-year-old food delivery worker was robbed at knifepoint Thursday morning inside a residential building in the Bronx, according to police.

The incident occurred at approximately 11:00 a.m. on May 8 at 810 River Avenue. Authorities say the victim was approached by two unidentified individuals while delivering food. One suspect displayed a knife, while the other simulated having a firearm.

The suspects stole approximately $60 worth of food before fleeing southbound on River Avenue toward East 157th Street. No injuries were reported.

The NYPD is actively investigating the robbery and working to identify the suspects. Surveillance footage from the area is being reviewed.
