TINTON FALLS, NJ — A series of road construction projects will begin across Tinton Falls starting Monday, causing overnight closures and daytime delays in several residential and commuter areas, police announced Thursday.
The Borough of Tinton Falls Police Department said Hope Road between Industrial Way West and Shafto Road will be closed from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Monday and Tuesday for milling and paving. Residents living on Alpine Trail, Lisa Drive, and Sacco Court will need to access their homes from the Industrial Way West side during the closure.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, Wayside Road near Stavbro Lane and the Garden State Parkway exit ramp will undergo nighttime milling and paving from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. During that period, the Parkway ramp will be closed, but Wayside Road will remain open with shifting traffic lanes.
“Follow the posted detours,” Capt. Matthew Park of the Tinton Falls Police Department said in the advisory posted on Facebook. Crews will be on-site overnight for each phase of the road work.
Additional work is scheduled throughout the week during daytime hours from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Penn Court, Duke Court, St. John Court, Brown Drive, Princeton Court, and Harvard Drive, where delays are expected entering and exiting the area.
