54-year-old woman shot and killed inside Palmer Park home

PALMER PARK, MD — A woman was found fatally shot inside a home in Palmer Park on Saturday afternoon, and Prince George’s County Police are now seeking the public’s help to identify a suspect.

Officers responded to the 1900 block of Ray Leonard Road at approximately 2:20 p.m. on May 10 after receiving a report of a shooting. At the scene, they discovered 54-year-old Leslie Davis suffering from gunshot wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Homicide detectives working to determine motive in fatal shooting

The department’s Homicide Unit has assumed control of the investigation and is working to identify the suspect or suspects and determine a motive. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in the case.
