TRENTON, NJ — A Middlesex County lottery player closed out a remarkable week for Jersey Cash 5 by claiming a $249,390 jackpot in Saturday’s drawing, marking the game’s 23rd jackpot of the year, New Jersey Lottery officials announced Monday.
The winning ticket matched all five numbers drawn on May 10: 08, 10, 12, 25, and 31. The XTRA number was 02 and the Bullseye was 31. The ticket was sold at Shoprite of Spotswood, located at 380 Summerhill Road. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus for selling the jackpot-winning ticket.
The win wraps up a busy week for Jersey Cash 5, with three jackpots claimed by four players between May 3 and May 10.
Bonus prizes boost total payouts in latest drawing
In addition to the grand prize, 28 players won $500 each for matching four numbers and the Bullseye. Another 12 players who matched four numbers, the Bullseye, and the XTRA also won $500 each.
