Late-night carjacking on Georgia Ave, teen suspects on the run

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Authorities are investigating an early morning carjacking in the 6900 block of Georgia Avenue NW involving two armed juveniles, according to a crime alert issued by the Metropolitan Police Department.

The incident was reported at approximately 1:22 a.m. on Sunday, May 11. Police said the suspects — described as one Black female and one Black male juvenile — were armed with a handgun during the carjacking.

The suspects fled the scene, and no additional information about the stolen vehicle or the condition of the victim has been released.
