HANOVER, MD — A Maryland Lottery player who purchased a scratch-off ticket in Hanover became $2 million richer last week, while another player in Dundalk scored a $685,656 jackpot on a FAST PLAY ticket, topping a list of major prizes paid across the state between May 5 and May 11.

The $2 million-winning “Fire” scratch-off ticket was sold at 7-Eleven on Aviation Boulevard, while the record-setting FAST PLAY “Super 777” progressive jackpot ticket was purchased at Quick Mart on Wise Avenue in Dundalk.

In total, the Maryland Lottery awarded over $34.1 million in prizes statewide, with 28 tickets worth $10,000 or more either sold or redeemed during the seven-day span.

Big-ticket winners from Temple Hills to White Marsh

A $250,000-winning “Money Bags” scratch-off was claimed in Temple Hills, and another $100,000 prize from the “Bingo X10” game was picked up in White Marsh. Additional $50,000 and $10,000 prizes were spread across Baltimore, Perry Hall, Laurel, and Waldorf.

On the FAST PLAY side, beyond the top-tier win in Dundalk, progressive jackpots included an $84,503 “Home Run Riches” ticket in Whiteford and a $47,875 “SLINGO” win in Lanham—both unclaimed as of May 12.

Multiple wins on PICK 5 and Racetrax highlight busy week

Among draw game winners, the PICK 5 game delivered five separate $25,000 winning tickets, with three sold in a single day at a Dash In store in Bryans Road. Racetrax also produced a string of sizable payouts, including a $46,734 win in Chesapeake Beach and several others across Halethorpe, Lanham, Dundalk, and Baltimore.

Winners of prizes above $25,000 must claim in person by appointment at the Maryland Lottery’s Customer Resource Center in Baltimore. All prizes must be claimed within 182 days.
