Wall Township police report multiple arrests including DWIs and drug charges

WALL TOWNSHIP, N.J. – Police in Wall Township made several arrests between May 5 and May 11, including charges related to driving while intoxicated, drug possession, shoplifting, and outstanding warrants, according to the department’s weekly activity report.

On Monday, Patrolman Daniel Grothues arrested Sania Lee, 24, of Georgia, at the Howell Police Department on a Wall Township traffic warrant. Lee was taken to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution.

The following day, Patrolman Trent Powers arrested Justin Longstreet, 34, of Wall, after an investigation at Target. Longstreet was charged with shoplifting, criminal mischief, hindering apprehension, and obstruction. His charges were placed on a warrant, and he was transported to the county correctional facility.

Two arrests were made on Wednesday in connection with separate DWI-related motor vehicle incidents. Patrolman Jared Conte arrested Michael Devito, 51, of Wall, for DWI and assault by auto after a three-car crash on Baileys Corner Road. Later that day, Patrolman Collin McCarthy arrested Emma Kuper, 24, of Manasquan, for DWI, possession of cocaine, and possession of drug paraphernalia after a one-car crash on Old Bridge Road. Both individuals were charged on summonses and released under John’s Law.

Warrants lead to multiple detentions

On Thursday, Patrolman John Kelly arrested Kenneth Burke, 54, of Camden, at Neptune Police Department on a criminal warrant out of Wall Township. Burke was taken to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution.

On Friday, two more individuals were arrested on warrants. Patrolman Kyle Pelech took Daniel Clayton, 41, of Jackson, into custody after he turned himself in on a Wall Township warrant along with three traffic warrants from Wall, Howell, and Jackson. He also arrested Bruce Berry, 45, of Asbury Park, at Neptune Township Police on a Wall Township criminal warrant. Both were transported to the county facility.

On Saturday, Patrolman Grothues arrested Janette Nazon, 56, of Brick, for DWI during a motor vehicle stop on State Highway 34. Nazon was processed and released per John’s Law.

Sunday brings drug and obstruction charges

Sunday saw two arrests, including one on serious drug and assault charges. Patrolman Vincent Colucci arrested Shaeddenz Colemen, 38, of Long Branch, following an investigation of a suspicious vehicle on 18th Avenue. Colemen faces charges of obstruction, resisting arrest, assault on a law enforcement officer, possession of crack, possession of oxycodone, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was transported to the county correctional facility.

Later Sunday, Patrolman Grothues arrested Ryan Petrillo, 19, of Neptune, on a Tinton Falls traffic warrant after a motor vehicle stop on State Highway 138. Petrillo was processed and released after posting bail.
