PHILADELPHIA, Pa. — Two Pennsylvania Lottery players are celebrating major wins after purchasing Scratch-Off tickets in Philadelphia that totaled $8 million in prizes, officials announced Thursday.

A $5 million-winning $5,000,000 Lion’s Share ticket was sold at Lin Harbinson Inc. (Philly’s Beverage), located at 5840 Harbison Avenue. The game, a $50 ticket, is one of the Lottery’s highest-paying scratch-offs.

Separately, a $3 million-winning 3s a Charm Scratch-Off was sold at Guavaberry Foods & Drinks, 776 South 4th Street. That game, which costs $30 per ticket, also offers top prizes in the millions.

Each retailer will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning tickets. The winners have not been publicly identified, and the prizes must be claimed within one year of the game’s official end-sale date.

The Pennsylvania Lottery emphasizes that Scratch-Off tickets are distributed randomly and that winning locations are only known once a prize is claimed.

Players are encouraged to sign the back of their tickets and contact the Lottery at 1-800-692-7481 for claim instructions.
