Kearny police search for missing 13-year-old girl last seen on Beech Street

KEARNY, N.J. — Authorities are searching for a missing 13-year-old girl who was last seen Saturday morning at her home in Kearny, police said.

Shirlay Garcia-Julia was last seen around 11:30 a.m. at her residence on Beech Street, according to the Kearny Police Department.

She is described as Hispanic, 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighing 116 pounds, with dark hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black top, jean shorts, white Crocs, and a gold heart necklace.

Police are urging anyone with information about her whereabouts to contact the department immediately at 201-998-1313 and press 0.

Kearny police are actively searching for 13-year-old Shirlay Garcia-Julia, who went missing Saturday morning from her Beech Street home.
