Akron cops hunt knife-wielding suspect in deadly dispute

AKRON, OhioPolice have identified 56-year-old Rosue Pierce as the suspect in the stabbing death of Narlon Portis, who was killed during a dispute over the weekend.

Detectives say Pierce stabbed Portis multiple times following an argument on Saturday, May 10. The attack proved fatal, and Portis, 52, was pronounced dead at the scene. Pierce fled before officers arrived.

Authorities have issued warrants for Pierce’s arrest on charges of Murder and Felonious Assault. He is described as a Black male, 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing approximately 200 pounds, with a bald head, brown eyes, and gray facial hair.

Police are urging the public to avoid confronting Pierce directly. He is considered armed and dangerous.
