Man seriously injured in Pulaski Highway shooting as cops detain person of interest

Baltimore, MD — A 43-year-old man was shot early Monday morning along Pulaski Highway, and a person of interest was taken into custody at the scene as Southeast District detectives continue investigating.

Officers responded at approximately 6:45 a.m. to the 3600 block of Pulaski Highway after receiving reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, they found the victim suffering from gunshot wounds.

Emergency responders transported the man to a nearby hospital, where he is listed in serious condition. Authorities have not released the victim’s identity.

Police confirmed that a person of interest was taken into custody at the scene, though no charges have been announced. Investigators are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
