Washington, DC — A pair of late-night robberies just 15 minutes apart left two victims shaken in Northeast D.C., where a man wielding a knife and threatening gun violence stole property and fled before authorities arrived.

Around 12:45 a.m. on Saturday, April 19, officers responded to the 1600 block of Lincoln Road NE after a man approached a victim, physically assaulted them, and took their belongings before running off.

Roughly a quarter-hour later, a second incident unfolded nearby in the 100 block of Todd Place NE. In this encounter, the same suspect allegedly brandished a knife, pointed it at the victim, and claimed he also had a gun. He threatened to shoot if his demands weren’t met, then stole the victim’s possessions and fled.

Surveillance footage from nearby cameras captured images of the suspect. Authorities released a collage of photos in hopes of gathering tips from the public to assist in the investigation.
