Newburgh, NY — A top-prize winning TAKE 5 ticket worth $28,174.50 was sold in Newburgh during Sunday’s evening drawing, the New York Lottery confirmed.

The ticket was purchased at Stewart’s Shops, located at 407 South Plank Road. The lucky player matched all five numbers drawn in the May 18 10:30 p.m. drawing.

TAKE 5 is drawn twice daily at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., with players selecting five numbers from a pool of 1 through 39. The jackpot amount varies depending on the number of winning tickets and total participation.

Winners have one year from the date of the drawing to claim their prize at a New York Lottery Customer Service Center or by submitting the ticket by mail with proper documentation.
