Teen fugitive wanted for murder in Columbia mall slaying

COLUMBIA, MD — The Howard County Police Department and U.S. Marshals Service are intensifying efforts to locate 18-year-old William Thomas Marshall III, wanted for a fatal shooting at The Mall in Columbia that occurred on July 27.

Marshall, also known as “Junior,” has been charged with first-degree murder in connection with the deadly incident. Authorities believe he remains at large and are seeking the public’s help in locating him.

Law enforcement agencies have announced a reward of up to $30,000 for information leading to his arrest. Investigators have not disclosed further details about the motive or circumstances of the shooting.

Marshall is considered armed and dangerous, and officials are urging anyone with knowledge of his whereabouts not to approach him.
