DC man robbed at knifepoint in his own apartment hallway

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Two suspects are being sought after allegedly robbing a man at knifepoint inside a Southeast D.C. apartment building earlier this week.

The incident occurred around 6:12 p.m. on Monday, May 19, in the 1200 block of Pennsylvania Avenue SE. The victim was walking to his apartment when two individuals approached him in the hallway. One suspect displayed a knife and demanded the victim’s property. The victim complied, and the suspects fled the scene.

Surveillance footage from inside the building captured images of the suspects. Police released still photos in an effort to identify the individuals involved.

No injuries were reported during the incident, and investigators continue to review footage and follow leads in the ongoing case.
