Gallipolis woman slaps down $100K on lottery ticket

GALLIPOLIS, OH — A Gallipolis resident named Heather has won a $100,000 top prize on the Ohio Lottery’s Three Stooges Pie Payout scratch-off game.

She purchased the $5 winning ticket at JC’s Market III, located at 3747 Jackson Pike in Gallipolis. After mandatory state and federal tax withholdings totaling 28 percent, she will receive an estimated $72,000.

Three Stooges Pie Payout is part of the Ohio Lottery’s themed instant games lineup, offering a top prize of $100,000. As of May 21, five top prizes remain unclaimed statewide.

This latest win adds to a string of big-ticket scratch-off victories across the state and continues to drive attention to the game.

The Ohio Lottery has contributed more than $33 billion to education since 1974.
